Job summary

Uber Freight in the United States is seeking a Customer Support Specialist III to help ensure on-time shipments and build strong relationships with customers and carriers. The role will be based in Tinley Park, with onsite training Monday–Friday for the first 90 days, followed by a hybrid schedule.

You will process shipments, lead timely performance, maintain professional communications, and assist with issue resolution across logistics teams to exceed on-time pickup and delivery.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2–4 years of experience with intermodal shipments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process shipment entries and actively lead timely performance/automation objectives.
• Maintain consistent and professional communications with customers and carriers.
• Exceed customer on-time pick-up and delivery expectations.
• Supervise shipments and revise plans based on changing shipper, customer, and carrier needs.
• Utilize external websites and other tools to set shipment appointments.
• Update load status in the system (e.g., loaded, pick-up, delivery, empty).
• Work with logistics teams to assist with shipment issues or problem-solving.
• Address detention and other accessorial information with customers and carriers.
