Job summary

Uber Freight is seeking a Customer Support Specialist III to ensure shipments are delivered on time and to develop strong relationships with customers and carriers. The role will work at our Tinley Park office, with onsite training Monday–Friday for the first 90 days and a hybrid schedule after training.

Key tasks include processing shipment entries, maintaining professional communications, supervising shipments, and coordinating with Logistics Teams to resolve issues.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• 2–4 years of intermodal shipments experience.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Process shipment entries and monitor performance to meet on-time delivery goals.
• Maintain professional communications with customers and carriers to resolve issues.
• Supervise shipments and adjust plans based on changing shipper, customer, and carrier needs.
• Collaborate with Logistics Teams to resolve shipment issues and problem-solve.
• Set up new customers, receivers, vendors, and locations in the platform.
