Uber Freight in Memphis is seeking a Customer Support Specialist III to ensure on-time delivery of customer shipments, build relationships with customers and carriers, and support daily operations in a fast-paced environment. Training will be on-site Monday-Friday for the first 90 days, after which a hybrid schedule is available.

You will process shipment entries, communicate effectively in difficult situations, and collaborate with Logistics Teams to resolve issues.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• 2-4 years of experience with intermodal shipments.
• Customer Service background.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred.

About The Role

Customer Support Specialist III is a key contributor to our operations division. What The Candidate Will Do

• Process shipment entries and actively leadtimelyperformance/automation objectives
• Maintain consistent and professionalcommunications; effective,promptand courteous communications with respect todifficult situations, relaying service failures, etc.
• Exceed customer on-time pick-up and delivery expectations
• Supervise shipments and revise when vital based on changing shipper, customer, and carrier needs
• Utilize external websites and other tools of communication to set shipment appointments
• Update load status in the system,e.g.loaded pick-up, delivery, empty, etc.
• Set up new receivers, vendors, and supplier’s locations
• Work directly with Logistics Teams toassistwith shipment issues or problem-solving
• Additional Responsibilities Regarding Customer and Carrier Relationships
• Correspond with customer and carrierregardingdetention and other accessorial information
• Setup new customer and vendor users on our platform
• Acquiresolid understanding of customer business practices and workflow

Basic Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Minimum of 2-4 year of experience with intermodal shipments

Preferred Qualifications

• Customer Service background
• Service-related industry experience
• Knowledge of the freight industry
• Basicproficiencywith Microsoft Office Suite
• Intermodal Experience
• Bachelors Degree preferred
