Job summary

Ultimate Staffing is seeking an Order Management & Logistics Supervisor in Fort Lauderdale. This role oversees the entire order-to-delivery process, from intake to proof of delivery, and leads a 3-5 person team.

You will drive system enhancements in SAP, manage EDI and carrier relationships, and implement improvements to make ordering smoother for customers. The ideal candidate coordinates with Sales, Finance, and Customer Service, oversees exceptions, and coordinates with warehouses/3PLs.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a small team in logistics operations.
• Strong knowledge of SAP order creation and EDI processes.
• Ability to coordinate with warehouse, 3PL, and transportation partners.
• Experience in KPI definition and continuous improvement projects.

Responsibilities

• Oversee order intake across channels and ensure accurate processing.
• Create sales orders in SAP with pricing, SKUs, and addresses.
• Resolve order exceptions quickly with Sales, Finance, and customers.
• Ensure EDI transactions are sent on time to meet retailer requirements.
• Release orders to warehouses and 3PL partners.
• Coordinate pick/ship priorities and delivery appointments.
• Monitor backlog, aging, and fill rates; resolve constraints.
• Lead RFQ process with domestic carriers and brokers.
• Maintain carrier relationships and contribute data to reviews.
• Support freight invoice audits and claim resolutions.
• Track shipments and proactively notify customers.
• Escalation point for order status questions.
• Partner with CS on order changes, cancellations, returns.
• Supervise, schedule, and develop a team of coordinators.
• Write SOPs and cross-train for backup coverage.
• Lead projects to improve scalability and customer experience.
• Define and report KPIs for order accuracy and cycle time.
