Job summary

Expeditors is a global logistics company seeking an Order Management assistant to support the Manager and Supervisor in moving freight efficiently from intake to delivery. The role emphasizes accurate data entry, shipment tracking, and proactive customer communication to meet service standards.

Responsibilities include maintaining shipment visibility, coordinating with carriers and vendors, and supporting billing processes while upholding compliance and quality standards across the logistics

Qualifications

• 1 year+ industry-specific experience or qualifications.
• Effective interpersonal skills for customer service.
• Hazardous Materials certification preferred.
• Proficiency in English; knowledge of Spanish/Portuguese a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Manager and Supervisor with all Order Management tasks.
• Ensure smooth and timely freight process flow and data entry.
• Track and trace shipments to maintain visibility and milestones.
• Maintain shipment visibility using workflows and management tools daily.
• Interact with customers regarding shipment status and requirements.
• Build relationships with carriers, vendors, and overseas offices.
• Support billing accuracy and intercompany invoicing.
