The Logistics Transportation Specialist will be responsible for drayage transportation and inbound shipping. They will supervise raw material shipping operations, managing international forwarders (NVOCC) and container transportation companies. The individual will monitor shipments from South Korea and China to Hanwha Qcells Georgia Inc., ensuring service quality and cost efficiency, while implementing improvement projects during inbound shipping.
The Logistics Transportation Specialist manages raw material transportation from import ports (Savannah, LA) to the Cartersville plant, sourcing trucking companies and bidding for cost reductions, while controlling irregular costs like demurrage or detention. They oversee logistics for solar panel raw materials such as glass, aluminum frames, junction boxes, wires, silicone, sheets, back sheets, flux, cells, wafers, and ingots, working within a cross-functional team environment across Hanwha Group subsidiaries.
