Under supervision, provides entry-level professional support in areas such as OMAT, maintenance, construction, intermodal, planning, utilities, surveying, environmental, or traffic.
Under general supervision, independently prepare minor to moderately complex projects in the Construction Work Program (CWP) for advertisement, letting, and contract execution (e.g., resurfacing, passing lanes, bridge construction, widening). This includes building projects in AASHTOWare Project Preconstruction, exporting project data from CES, making funding determinations using TPro, reviewing plans for project details and discrepancies, preparing digital proposals, coordinating with Project Managers, preparing digital contracts, and reviewing geotechnical, earthwork, utility, and environmental files for completeness.
