Network Operation Center team is looking for a Transportation Specialist to join its AMZL (Amazon Logistics) CO (Central Operations) that supports in driving transportation (Last Mile) related programs.

Role Overview

The Central Operations ‘Transportation Specialist’ ensures positive interaction between Amazon operators, third-party companies, and cross-functional teams to achieve operational objectives by managing configurations in Amazon tools. The ideal candidate should understand logistics basics, analyze data for trends, and focus on enhancing Customer Experience without compromising timeliness. Strong communication skills, process improvement ideation, and drive to implement solutions are essential.

Key Responsibilities

1. Understand execution and daily production goals.
2. Review and update SOPs as needed; assist with execution, training associates, and verifying SOP compliance.
3. Handle incoming work requests within SLAs.
4. Provide guidance using independent judgment.
5. Conduct regular audits with associates for engagement and adherence to standards.
6. Assist in shift execution alongside shift managers.
7. Work a flexible schedule, including overnight, weekends, and holidays, as required.

About the Team

The NOC (Network Operation Center) serves as the command and control hub for Transportation Execution across Amazon's supply chain. It ensures timely pickup and delivery of freight, resolves exceptions, and analyzes network data for trend identification and process automation.

Minimum Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree in a quantitative/technical field (e.g., computer science, engineering, statistics).
2. Experience with Excel and SQL.
3. Experience in an IT/Operations/Call/Command Center environment.
4. Ability to extract data from multiple databases and perform ad hoc reporting and analysis.
5. Strong team collaboration skills.
6. Proven ability to develop scalable processes and drive continuous improvement through root cause analysis.
