Job summary

MSC Mediterranean Shipping Company in Tempe, AZ, seeks a logistics specialist to support inland transportation by rail and/or truck. You will use MSC systems and Power BI to monitor shipments, liaise with customers and customs, and drive process improvements.

The role emphasizes analytical thinking, strong organizational skills, and teamwork to deliver accurate responses and efficient handling of inquiries. Prior logistics exposure is valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in supply chain, transportation, or logistics.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Customer-oriented with good organizational skills.
• Team-oriented and able to collaborate across departments.
• Proficiency in MS Excel; ability to learn new software quickly.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with inland transportation by rail and/or truck.
• Monitor information in MSC IT systems and Power BI.
• Liaise with intermodal customers, US customs, and MSC departments globally.
• Analyze data and implement strategies to improve processes.
• Provide timely responses to inquiries about shipments and statuses.
• Escalate complex issues to the supervisor when needed.
• Anticipate problems and apply effective problem-solving approaches.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
