Job summary

MSC Mediterranean Shipping Company in Chicago is seeking a Logistics Customer Service Representative to be the primary contact for Intermodal and Equipment customers and vendors, delivering timely, accurate support and resolving inquiries to keep logistics operations efficient. The role requires on-site presence five days a week, strong communication, attention to detail, and proficiency with Microsoft Dynamics 365 and MSC systems.

A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Fields Intermodal / Equipment questions from customers and vendors nationwide.
• Establishes and maintains positive relationships with customers and vendors.
• Provides timely and accurate responses to inquiries, following corporate guidelines, and generates potential solutions to issues.
• Ensures appropriate actions are taken to resolve problems and escalates unique or complex customer issues to the appropriate internal department as necessary.
• Maintains updated records of customer and vendor interactions in MSC Systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Service, MSC proprietary systems).
• Maintains a good level of knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Service functionalities pertaining to Intermodal / Equipment CS activities and Intermodal / Equipment workflows and procedures for the geographies under scope.
• Presence required on-site 5 days per week.
• Performs other duties as required.
