Qualifications

• 1 year of logistics experience.
• General knowledge of the transportation industry.
• Experience writing routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain customer profile information and enter loads from customer tenders.
• Update account managers on problem loads and actions taken; inform receivers and customers of load status.
• Monitor daily pickups and deliveries; verify on-time arrival and load condition.
• Take check calls from drivers; validate load data before marking delivered for accounting.
• Investigate overages, shortages, damages; complete documentation.
• Schedule/reschedule delivery appointments; accept/decline loads per account managers.
• Provide detailed routing directions to drivers.
