Job summary

Kelly Services in Greenville, OH is hiring a Logistics Specialist to support production by loading, unloading, and staging materials and operating forklifts/yards. A High School Diploma is required, with preferred HazMat CFR49 certification and experience with chemicals.

You will keep records, assist with safety audits, and adapt to changing priorities. You’ll work on a safety-minded team with opportunities to grow in logistics, material handling, and process safety, in a role with day-to-day

Qualifications

• Have a High School Diploma (required).
• Bring experience operating powered industrial equipment (forklifts, yard tractors).
• Have prior material handling experience, especially with chemicals (preferred).
• Hold or are willing to pursue Hazardous Materials Handling Certification CFR49 (preferred, not required).
• Possess strong teamwork skills and a self-directed work ethic.
• Can lift up to 55 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods.
• Are comfortable with frequent stair use, occasional respiratory protection, and working in varying indoor/outdoor environments and weather conditions.
• Demonstrate a strong safety commitment and willingness to learn and advance skills.

Responsibilities

• Loading, off-loading, and staging packaged materials to support production.
• Operating powered industrial equipment such as forklifts and yard tractors.
• Maintaining inspections, housekeeping duties, and accurate records.
• Supporting process safety programs through audits, training, and safety reviews.
• Demonstrating a steady work pace with changing priorities and assisting with spill response and cleanup as needed.
• Utilizing PPE and participating in hazardous materials duties and incident investigations.

Pay Rate: $23.00 per hour

Shifts: Candidates must be able to work either shift from, 3:00pm-11:30pm OR 11pm - 7:30am
