Schedule

6PM - 6AM; rotating schedule (12 hr shifts)

Position Summary

This role involves executing daily plans for freight movement within an assigned area.

Essential Functions

• Gather, monitor, and analyze inventories for forecasted customers.
• Confirm accurate retain and runout times, maximizing payload and on-time performance by analyzing inventories and sales data.
• Evaluate and adjust current and future orders based on driver capacity and customer demands.
• Coordinate with Asset Specialists to update sourcing and revise daily operating plans for efficiency.
• Communicate effectively with Load Planners, Scheduling Team Leaders, and external customers regarding service issues.
• Solicit new and existing customers for freight opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; degree preferred.
• Previous logistics dispatch/scheduling experience preferred.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office and logistics software.
• Problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure using independent judgment.
• Ability to work well in teams across departments.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Positive attitude and strong personal skills.
