Sample Warehousing and Logistics Specialist - 3rd Shift, M-F

Eurofins Scientific is an international life sciences company providing a range of analytical testing services to make life and the environment safer, healthier, and more sustainable. We work with major companies worldwide to ensure product safety, authenticity, and accurate labelling.

We are hiring a Sample Warehousing and Logistics Specialist to operate our Automated Storage and Retrieval System (ASRS). Our facility processes over 60,000 samples, utilizing software, computers, and robotics for efficient handling, storage, and retrieval. Candidates will learn troubleshooting techniques to maintain system efficiency during overnight hours.

The responsibilities include:

1. Pulling samples requested for analysis
2. Returning used samples to the ASRS
3. Processing expired samples for disposal
4. Managing long-term storage of samples requiring extended retention
5. Performing troubleshooting on the ASRS as needed

This position is on the 3rd Shift, Monday through Friday, with training scheduled from 8 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday.

Ideal candidates will have:

• Basic mechanical knowledge and experience with machinery
• Problem-solving skills related to mechanical issues
• Ability to use tools and address arising issues
• Effective functioning during shift hours
• Self-motivation and decision-making skills

Minimum qualifications include:

• Authorization to work in the U.S. without restrictions or sponsorship
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Some mechanical background

Proficiency in English, including reading, writing, and speaking, is required.
