Qualifications

• Clear communication skills and ability to work with customers, carriers, and internal teams.
• Strong attention to detail and a practical, problem-solving approach to day-to-day logistics.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate outbound shipments, including multi-stop loads and freight consolidations.
• Review shipment details to ensure loads are rated accurately and scheduled appropriately.
• Monitor load utilization, transit times, pickup appointments, and past-due orders.
• Communicate with carriers and shipping partners to confirm appointments and resolve delays.
• Work with Customer Service and internal teams to coordinate priorities.
• Build relationships with customers and carriers to support reliable service.
• Maintain accurate shipment records and resolve outstanding transportation issues.

What You’ll Do

• Plan and coordinate outbound shipments, including multi-stop loads and freight consolidations, to make the most efficient use of available capacity.
• Review shipment details to ensure loads are rated accurately, scheduled appropriately, and aligned with customer delivery requirements.
• Monitor load utilization, transit times, pickup appointments, and past-due orders to keep shipments on track.
• Communicate with carriers and shipping partners to confirm appointments, check shipment status, and resolve delays or scheduling issues.
• Work closely with Customer Service, shipping, and other internal teams to coordinate priorities and keep everyone informed of changes.
• Build productive working relationships with customers and carriers to support reliable service and resolve day-to-day transportation issues.
• Maintain accurate shipment records and follow through on outstanding transportation issues until they’re resolved.

What We’re Looking For

• At least 2 years of experience in logistics coordination, freight coordination, load planning, or a similar transportation role (LTL/TL).
• Experience in Transportation Management Systems (TMS).
