Job summary

Transportation Insight, LLC is seeking a Solutions Engineer to assess, develop, and support the implementation of logistics solutions that improve client business models. The role requires strong evaluation and data analysis skills and a hands-on leadership style within the sales process.

You will collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to design client-specific solutions, price multi‑mode services, and produce documentation for proposals and presentations to prospective clients.

Qualifications

• BS degree in business or related field. MBA preferred ifBachelor's not in business/related field.
• 5+ years experience in Supply Chain management.
• Minimum 4 years of complex, consultative, solutions experience.
• Direct consulting experience in transportation, logistics, and/or TMS at the C‑Suite level.

Responsibilities

• Communicate the value and differentiators of Transportation Insight as a logistics partner.
• Gather client requirements and understand drivers for value-based supply chain improvements.
• Assess a validated prospects’ current supply chain program and document current state.
• Coordinate the assessment process and manage internal timelines.
• Propose best solutions based on client needs and current state.
• Develop a solutions strategy with cross-functional delivery teams.
• Facilitate strategy meetings and coordinate internal resources.
• Document the future solution for presentations and docs.
• Assist in pricing strategies for services that are competitive and attractive.
• Support demonstrations of technology platforms to close new business.
• Communicate with prospects and clients via phone, web and on-site as needed.
• Report unfulfilled needs and potential improvements to Solutions leadership.
• Support ongoing improvement by documenting best practices.
