Job summary

Transportation Insight, LLC is seeking a Solutions Engineer to assess, design, and support the implementation of logistics solutions that enhance clients' business models. You will lead with strategic thinking and hands-on involvement across sales, consulting, and delivery teams in a fast-paced environment.

The role focuses on evaluating current states, pricing complex multi‑mode services, and producing documentation for client presentations.

Qualifications

• BS degree in business or related field; MBA preferred if degree not in business
• 5+ years of experience in supply chain management
• Minimum 4 years of complex, consultative solutions experience
• Direct consulting experience in transportation, logistics, and/or TMS at C-Suite level

Responsibilities

• Communicate Transportation Insight's value and differentiators to clients across all modes
• Gather client requirements and key drivers for value-based improvements
• Assess validated prospects' current supply chain by documenting the current state
• Coordinate assessment process and hold internal teams to timelines
• Understand client systems/applications and propose best solution
• Work with cross-functional delivery team to develop strategy and framework
• Lead prospect strategy meetings and coordinate internal resources
• Document the future solution for client presentations and materials
• Assist in creating competitive pricing strategies for services
• Aid sales in demonstrating platforms to close new business
• Communicate with prospects and clients via phone, web, and on-site
• Collect information on unfulfilled client needs and report to leadership
• Assess transition processes from sales to implementation/account management
• Support documenting best practices for ongoing improvement
