Job summary

Transportation Insight, LLC seeks a Solutions Engineer to assess, develop, and support the implementation of logistics solutions that improve client business models. You will analyze data to design an ideal future state and lead the deal cycle with strategic thinking, business acumen, and practical judgment.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and prospective clients to tailor solutions, price complex multi‑mode services, and contribute to presentations and proposals.

Qualifications

• BS degree in business or related field; MBA preferred if not in business.
• 5+ years of experience in supply chain management.
• LEAN / Six Sigma certification or experience is a plus.
• Strong collaboration with internal operations teams during solution development and delivery.

Responsibilities

• Assess a validated prospects’ current supply chain program by documenting current state.
• Understand the client's systems/appliances used in current state and requirements to propose best solution.
• Document the future solution to aid in presentations and proposals.
• Help create pricing strategies for multi‑mode service offerings that are competitive and attractive.
• Assist sales personnel in demonstrations of technology platforms to aid closure of new business.
• Communicate with prospects and clients at needed pace via phone, web and on-site visits.
• Support smooth transition of clients from sales to implementation/account management.
