Job summary

Transportation Insight, LLC is seeking a Solutions Engineer to assess and develop logistics solutions that improve client business models. This role blends data analysis, consultative selling, and hands-on leadership within the sales process to design profitable multi‑mode service solutions.

The position requires 5+ years in supply chain management, strong MS Office skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects while collaborating with operations teams.

Qualifications

• BS degree in business or related field; MBA preferred and required if bachelor’s degree is not in business or related field.
• Experienced logistics professional with 5+ years of supply chain management experience.
• Advanced experience with Microsoft Office Applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Visio).
• LEAN / Six Sigma certification or experience is a plus.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Strong collaboration with internal operations teams during solution development.

Responsibilities

• Assess validated prospects’ current supply chain program by documenting current state.
• Understand client systems/applications used in current state and propose best solution.
• Document future solution for presentations and documentation.
• Help create pricing strategies for TI service offerings.
• Assist sales in demonstrating technology platforms to drive closure of new business.
• Communicate effectively with prospects and clients across channels as needed.
• Support transition processes from sales to implementation/account management teams.
• Document best practices to support ongoing improvements.
