Job summary

Transportation Insight, LLC is seeking a Solutions Engineer to assess, design, and support logistics solutions that enhance client business models. You will lead with strategic thinking, collaborate with senior stakeholders, and guide cross-functional teams to deliver profitable, client-focused solutions across diverse modes.

The role emphasizes consultative selling, supply chain optimization, and TMS implementation while supporting pricing strategy and project management.

Qualifications

• BS degree in business or related field (MBA preferred if not in business)
• 5+ years in Supply Chain management related fields
• Minimum 4 years of complex, consultative, solutions experience
• Direct consulting experience in transportation/logistics/TMS at C-Suite level

Responsibilities

• Communicate Transportation Insight's value and differentiators
• Gather client requirements and drivers for value-based improvements
• Assess prospects' current supply chain and document state
• Coordinate assessment process and timelines
• Propose best solution for client needs across systems
• Develop solutions strategy with cross-functional team
• Lead strategy meetings and coordinate resources
• Document future solution for presentations and documentation
• Assist pricing strategies for offerings
• Support demonstrations to close new business
• Communicate effectively with prospects and clients via multiple channels
• Report client needs and improvements to Solutions leadership
• Support transition of clients from sales to implementation/account management
• Document best practices for continuous improvement
