Job summary

KNAPP North America seeks software engineers to install and customize our logistics software at customer sites in North America. You will program configurations, develop SQL queries and reports, and test software both at the Kennesaw/Atlanta office and on customer sites.

The role requires C++ or Java development, SQL/PL-SQL, and Linux experience in mixed environments. Expect substantial travel, collaboration with Europe, and remote customer support responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of C++ or Java development is required.
• SQL and PL-SQL experience is required.
• Experience with Linux in a mixed Linux/Windows environment.

Responsibilities

• Install and set up our logistics software at customer sites.
• Program software customizations and configurations.
• Develop queries and reports by accessing the software’s database (SQL).
• Prepare and test software at office (Kennesaw/Atlanta) and at customer sites.
• Collaborate with international departments (Europe) and support customers during startup.
