Job summary

Wilen is seeking a Logistics Assistant to support daily warehouse and transportation operations, ensuring materials and goods reach destinations safely and on time. You will work closely with the Logistics Manager, carriers, and warehouse staff to maintain accuracy in shipping processes.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of logistics experience, strong communication skills, and proficiency with MS Office and shipping software.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or associate degree.
• 3-5 years of shipping/logistics experience.
• Experience across warehousing and transportation.
• Strong communication and vendor collaboration skills.
• Proficient with MS Office and logistics software.

Responsibilities

• Support daily warehouse and transportation activities with supervisor guidance.
• Schedule and track shipments to ensure timely pickup and delivery.
• Communicate with carriers on pickup, status, and changes.
• Assist with receiving, storing, and dispatching goods.
• Prepare shipping documents and maintain inventory records.
• Monitor stock levels and report shortages or delays.
• Coordinate with vendors, drivers, and internal teams to move goods.
• Follow safety procedures and company policies.
