Qualifications

• 5+ years experience at a 3PL in a sales-focused role.
• Commission-driven compensation with uncapped earning potential.
• Experience developing, maintaining, and servicing your own customer accounts.
• Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems under pressure in a time-sensitive industry.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Self-motivated with ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Act as intermediary between shippers and transportation companies to ensure seamless delivery.
• Seek new customers, partners, and vendors to expand Avenue's network.
• Continuously build and expand the book of business by adding new leads.
• Develop and manage carrier relationships with strong communication and service.
• Negotiate rates with customers based on market trends.
• Drive account growth via prospecting, sourcing, and development.
• Collaborate with carriers and shippers to identify new solutions.
• Improve the quality of transportation partners and shipper base.
