Job summary

The Clorox Company is seeking a Logistics Associate for our Atlanta-Main facility in Forest Park, GA. This role covers daily forklift inspections, material handling, packaging support, and safety reporting to ensure compliant operations in a fast-paced manufacturing and distribution environment.

Starting hourly rate is $24.63 with a 12-hour shift (2-2-3). You will plan and prioritize work, support changeovers, load and unload, and maintain 5S and OSHA/DOT standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–2 years in manufacturing or distribution preferred.
• Forklift operator capabilities demonstrated.
• Detail-oriented with willingness to learn and sense of urgency.
• Must work flexible hours and overtime; off-shift and weekends possible.
• Adhere to OSHA & DOT standards and 5S practices.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily inspections of electric-powered forklifts and attachments.
• Support production with packaging materials and staging/stocking.
• Report and correct unsafe conditions; issue repair work orders.
• Complete safety checks for trailer loading and dock locking.
• Maintain forklift security procedures and related tools.
• Plan and prioritize work with minimal supervision.
• Document unloading/loading activities per department procedures.
• Support changeover, startup, and shutdown processes.
• Follow SDS procedures for handling raw materials.
• Understand loading practices, weight distribution, and warehouse layout.
