Job summary

The Clorox Company is seeking a qualified candidate for a logistics associate position at our Atlanta-Main facility. This role involves performing daily inspections of electric-powered forklifts and using various attachments like slip-sheet units, double-forks, and clamp trucks to support production by managing packaging materials and ensuring safety through reporting and correcting unsafe conditions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years in manufacturing or distribution.
• Ability to operate forklifts and follow safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily inspections of electric-powered forklifts and use attachments.
• Support production with packaging materials handling.
• Report and correct unsafe conditions using Hazardous Notification and BBS.
• Conduct safety checks for trailer loading and dock systems.
• Maintain forklift security and organize department tools.
• Plan and prioritize work with minimal supervision.
• Complete unloading/loading documentation.
• Support Changeover, Startup/Shutdown processes.
• Comply with OSHA & DOT regulations and SDS handling.
• Understand loading practices, warehouse layout, and capacity constraints.
