Job summary

The Clorox Company is hiring a Logistics Associate at our Atlanta-Main facility near Forest Park, GA. This full-time role involves daily forklift inspections, operating attachments, and supporting packaging materials while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

Starting hourly rate is $24.63 with a 12-hour shift pattern (2-2-3) in a fast-paced manufacturing and distribution environment. We offer competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Resume required.
• 1-2 years of manufacturing/distribution experience preferred.
• Demonstrate forklift operator capabilities.
• Detail-oriented with willingness to learn and sense of urgency.
• Strong commitment to plant MVPs and company values.
• Be willing to work flexible hours, overtime, weekends, and shift changes.
• Meets required skill certification criteria and tracks progress.

Responsibilities

• Performs daily inspections of electric powered forklift using proper documentation and attachments.
• Supports staging for packaging materials (caps, triggers, preforms, labels, etc.).
• Reports and corrects unsafe conditions through Hazardous Notification and repairs work orders.
• Performs safety checks related to trailer loading and dock locking systems.
• Maintains forklift security and departmental tools per procedures.
• Plans and prioritizes work assignments with minimal supervision.
• Fills out documentation for unloading/loading per department procedures.
• Supports changeover, startup/shutdown to standards.
• Adheres to OSHA & DOT regulations and 5S housekeeping.
• Knowledge of SDS handling and raw materials procedures.
• Understands complex loading practices and weight distribution.
• Knows warehouse layout and capacity constraints.
