Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a Sales & Field Operations liaison for North America Applied Equipment contracts, overseeing order receipt to delivery, coordinating with Sales, Manufacturing, and Logistics to ensure on-time shipments.

The role emphasizes proactive problem solving, communication, and rapid response to customer needs, with a focus on accuracy in IBS, SelNav, and order processing while supporting stock and shipping optimization.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline plus 4 years servicing internal or external customers is required.
• A minimum of 6 years servicing internal or external customers is required if non-degreed.
• Demonstrated superior telephone personality with excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a single point of contact for Sales and Field Operations for North America Applied Equipment contracts from receipt of order to delivery of equipment.
• Communicate with factories and field offices to ensure shipments are arranged per customer requirements and satisfaction.
• Monitor orders and expedites factories to prevent delays that would incur costs for late delivery.
• Coordinate input of answers or information in IBS comments to ensure field offices’ questions are answered.
• Maintain and ensure accuracy of information in IBS for factory use.
• Review orders configured in SelNav and coordinate with Marketing or Product Management to resolve issues.
• Notify master scheduler of sale and ensure stock units are marked sold to prevent duplicate orders.
