Job summary

DSV is seeking an Operations Supervisor to oversee inbound, outbound, and warehouse activities, including labor scheduling and space utilization. You will supervise receiving, warehousing and shipping to meet service and cost objectives.

Responsibilities include staffing, training, performance appraisals, and ensuring adherence to SOPs while driving efficiency and safety across daily operations. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have a High school diploma or GED.
• 3 years’ experience working in a logistics/distribution/relevant environment.
• 1 year experience in a supervisory role.
• Preferred: Prior MHE certification / knowledge of basic MHE operation.

Responsibilities

• Supervise staff meetings to review daily/weekly activities and plan improvements.
• Report critical issues to senior management and client representatives.
• Develop systems for safe, efficient operations aligning with policies and client KPIs.
• Meet cost, productivity and service goals while ensuring SOP compliance.
• Provide direction, coaching and performance evaluations for team members.

Education

High school diploma or GED

3 years’ experience in logistics/distribution

1 year supervisory experience

MHE certification (preferred)
