Job summary

DSV is seeking an Operations Supervisor in Texas to oversee inbound/outbound activities, labor scheduling, space utilization, and customer communication. The role emphasizes people management, training, and ensuring safe, cost-effective warehousing aligned with client KPIs.

You will supervise receiving, warehousing, and shipping, reporting to the Operations Manager, while upholding SOPs and delivering high-quality customer service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3 years logistics/distribution experience.
• 1 year supervisory experience.
• Forklift training certificate required.
• Proficient with MS Office, RF scanners and WMS.
• Strong leadership and planning abilities.

Responsibilities

• Conducts staff meetings to review daily/weekly work activities.
• Keeps senior management and client representatives informed of critical issues.
• Develops systems for safe and profitable operations in line with policies.
• Meets client KPIs and quality requirements.
• Plans daily work, assigns duties, and reviews priorities.
• Trains and evaluates warehouse staff and managers performance.
