Job summary

DSV – Global Transport and Logistics in New Berlin, WI is seeking an Operations Supervisor to oversee inbound/outbound, slotting, and daily staffing. You will supervise warehouse activities, schedule labor, and ensure safe, efficient operations across the distribution center.

You will hire and train staff, conduct performance reviews, develop processes, and maintain client KPI compliance. A high school diploma, 3 years in logistics, and 1 year supervisory experience are required; MHE

Qualifications

• Must have a Highschool diploma or GED.
• 3 years’ experience working in a logistics/distribution/relevant environment.
• 1 year experience in a supervisory role.
• Preferred: Prior MHE certification / knowledge of basic MHE operation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct staff meetings to review daily/weekly work activities, plan and assure continuous improvement.
• Plan the daily work schedule by reviewing existing work orders and assigning duties to warehouse staff.
• Trains new staff and assesses progress of trainees, adding duties as appropriate.
• Maintains adherence to SOPs and ensures safety, productivity, and customer service goals.
