Job summary

DSV – Global Transport and Logistics in Lancaster, TX is seeking a Supervisor, Operations to oversee day-to-day branch operations, drive efficiency, and ensure top-tier customer service.

You will lead the operations team, coordinate workflow, monitor KPIs, support onboarding and account processes, and collaborate with Sales, Accounting, and other teams to resolve issues. This is a full-time role with base pay $80,000–$90,000.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years in transportation operations; 5+ years preferred.
• 2+ years leading or supervising teams; 3+ years preferred.
• Strong knowledge of transportation operations, freight brokerage, and customer service practices.
• Fluent English (reading, writing, speaking) required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead the operational team with workload distribution and performance management.
• Coordinate daily activities to meet customer and branch requirements efficiently.
• Monitor performance, provide feedback, and participate in staffing and onboarding.
• Serve as escalation point for customer, shipment, and system issues.
• Oversee customer onboarding, account setup, and documentation.
• Support pricing, quotes, and shipment booking per established processes.
• Analyze KPIs to identify trends and improve productivity and service.
