Job summary

DSV – Global Transport and Logistics in the USA (New Berlin) is seeking an Operations Supervisor to oversee inbound and outbound activities, labor planning, and product slotting while aligning with service and cost objectives.

You will hire and train staff, assign daily work, conduct performance reviews, and maintain client communication to meet KPIs. Requires 3 years in logistics, 1 year supervisory experience, and forklift/MHE readiness.

Qualifications

• Must have a Highschool diploma or GED.
• 3 years’ experience in logistics/distribution environment.
• 1 year supervisory experience.
• Preferred: MHE certification or knowledge of basic MHE operation.
• Forklift training program completed.

Responsibilities

• Supervise inbound, outbound, and product slotting activities daily.
• Plan labor scheduling, space utilization, and equipment needs.
• Hire and train staff; conduct performance appraisals.
• Ensure safety and cost objectives; meet client KPIs.
• Develop systems for safe, profitable operations and SOP adherence.
