Job summary

Century Distribution Systems, Inc. is seeking a results-oriented Operations Manager to oversee domestic warehouse and transload activities in the Virginia region.

You will manage resources, develop SOPs, and ensure delivery on customer commitments while driving efficiency with advanced logistics technology. Key responsibilities include onboarding new accounts, defining meaningful KPIs, and leading cross-functional teams to meet service levels and optimize gross margins.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to conduct face-to-face meetings with customers.
• Strong analytical skills required.
• Intermediate or Advanced Excel.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage CDDS domestic warehouse and transload operations.
• Develop SOPs for accounts and define scope of services.
• Identify resources to meet customer requirements and deliver on commitments.
• Utilize VIZIV to improve team efficiency and streamline operations.
• Onboard new domestic logistics accounts and define KPIs for performance.
