Responsibilities

• Carrier compliance oversight — Ensure all freight carriers meet company policies, regulatory requirements, safety standards, and performance expectations.
• Rate & contract management — Manage carrier rates, negotiate contracts, and collaborate with Finance to structure agreements aligned with financial goals.
• KPI development — Establish and monitor KPIs for on-time delivery, safety, service quality, and contract adherence.
• Vendor pickup strategy — Design and optimize transportation schedules, routing, and vendor pickup operations to balance cost and service.
• Operational leadership — Develop strategic and tactical direction for logistics operations across all locations; ensure strong performance management and financial accountability.
• Process improvement — Implement procedures that enhance service strategy, cost control, and operational efficiency.
• Cross-functional collaboration — Partner with distribution, procurement, and other operational teams to streamline workflows and improve logistics outcomes.
• Safety & compliance — Enforce company safety policies, SOPs, OSHA standards, and safe-practice guidelines.

This role partners closely with Finance, Distribution, and Procurement to ensure cost‑effective, compliant, and high‑performance transportation solutions.

Role Overview

The Senior Logistics Manager oversees carrier compliance, rate management, vendor pickup strategy, and logistics billing. This leader develops and implements processes that improve service quality, strengthen cost control, and enhance overall logistics performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Carrier compliance oversight — Ensure all freight carriers meet company policies, regulatory requirements, safety standards, and performance expectations.
