Job summary
Magnetics, a division of Spang & Company, is seeking a Logistics Operations Specialist at its Phoenix, AZ facility. You will efficiently process shipments, verify records, and perform ERP and administrative tasks to support the Warehouse Supervisor and operations.
Primary duties include daily shipping/receiving, coordinating pickups, handling international shipments, preparing Bills of Lading and Delivery Notes, and collaborating with Sales and Purchasing.
Qualifications
- Experience with ERP or related shipping software and ability to perform ERP transactions.
- Strong written and verbal communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to operate a forklift and lift up to 75 pounds.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily shipping and receiving activities.
- Complete ERP transactions and coordinate pickups and deliveries.
- Coordinate international shipments and receipts.
- Prepare shipping documents such as Bills of Lading and Delivery Notes.
- Communicate with Sales and Purchasing regarding shipments and inventory.
- Investigate discrepancies and misshipments; process RMA and DMR reports.
- Monitor packaging material inventory.
