Job summary

Dahl Consulting is seeking an Associate Operations Coordinator to support day-to-day transportation operations in Eden Prairie, MN. You will coordinate logistics activities, maintain accurate records, and respond to customer and carrier inquiries to ensure shipments move smoothly.

As part of an fast-paced operations team, you will track shipments, schedule loads, escalate issues when needed, and contribute to excellent service for customers and partners. This contract role lasts seven months.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Previous customer service experience.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers, carriers, and internal teams.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Availability to work evenings and/or weekends, depending on business needs and assigned shift.

Responsibilities

• Execute transportation and logistics operational tasks while adhering to established policies, procedures, and service standards.
• Create and manage shipment orders, activate shipments, build and assign loads, schedule appointments, and update shipment information.
• Track and trace shipments to ensure timely transportation and delivery.
• Monitor shared inboxes and task queues to respond promptly to customer and carrier requests.
• Document shipment events accurately and follow established escalation procedures when necessary.
• Provide professional customer support and follow through on requests to ensure a positive experience.
• Escalate complex issues or service concerns to the appropriate team members.
• Review and validate shipment and load data to ensure accuracy and compliance with customer and company requirements.
• Support invoicing and transportation-related administrative processes.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to meet business and operational needs.
