Job summary

The RIGHT STAFF is seeking an Operations Specialist in Eagan, MN to support daily delivery operations, coordinate routes, assist drivers, and ensure accurate delivery documentation. This on-site contract role offers a temporary position supporting a growing logistics team.

Responsibilities include acting as a primary contact for drivers and customers, auditing records, and driving process improvements while maintaining strong communication and organizational skills in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years of experience in logistics, transportation, dispatch, or delivery operations.
• Experience with routing software, TMS, 3PL, last-mile carrier, or dispatch platforms preferred.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Friendly, customer-facing presence.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Process and manage job claims within company systems to ensure timely and accurate completion.
• Audit routes and delivery records to verify accuracy, identify discrepancies, and support operational efficiency.
• Serve as a key point of contact for drivers, field teams, and internal staff by responding to phone calls, emails, and voicemails.
• Communicate with customers regarding delivery updates, service concerns, and general inquiries.
• Review delivery documentation for accuracy and compliance with company standards.
• Assist with issue resolution by coordinating with internal teams and providing timely follow-up.
• Support daily operational and administrative activities, including data entry, reporting, and record maintenance.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and contribute to overall operational success.
