Job summary

USPack is seeking an Operations Manager in the Denver area to oversee transportation services for a group of clients. You will contract and coordinate Independent Contractors to deliver products from client locations to designated sites, while ensuring service levels and budget targets are met.

Ideal candidates have experience in logistics, route scheduling, and strong communication skills. The role requires travel within the CO area, occasional weekends, and a focus on gross margin management.

Qualifications

• Experience with independent contractor relationships and routing.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to plan, prioritize, and organize tasks under deadlines.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% in CO area and surrounding regions.

Responsibilities

• Meet with clients regularly to build relationships and document visits.
• Review on-time delivery and location scans by account.
• Create, review, and resolve service issues using Delivery Incident Reports.
• Monitor and ensure ICs meet contract requirements (apparel, paperwork, etc.).
• Plan route coverage and communicate changes to ICs.
• Negotiate with ICs regarding contracted services and margins.
• Assist in troubleshooting eCMobile issues and driver pay activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
