Qualifications

• Demonstrated leadership qualities with strong interpersonal skills and ability to connect with staff and customers.

• Strong written/oral communication skills and the ability to actively listen.
• Ability to think critically, make decisions, and manage through problems.
• Ability to drive process improvement and lead change.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
• Demonstrates ownership and urgency in running the operation.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is essential.
• Willingness to travel and pass background/drug screening as required.

Responsibilities

• Train and develop supervisors and associates to meet customer objectives.
• Set and communicate specific, measurable performance standards.
• Interview hourly staff and provide hiring recommendations.
• Monitor attendance and productivity; coach and counsel staff.
• Motivate and engage teams via recognition.
• Oversee logistics operations: service, loading/unloading, dispatch and docs.
• Lead regular team meetings.
• Suggest improvements to dispatch methods; assist training.
• Provide relief coverage when others are absent.
• Know site operating systems to ensure compliance and resolve exceptions.
• Maintain records and reports accurately and timely.
