Job summary

CS Recruiting is seeking a Project Logistics Manager for a client specializing in transportation management, warehousing and brokerage services. This full-time hybrid role in Houston, TX requires leading project logistics, budgeting, scheduling, and RFQ/RFP activities while coordinating with Ocean, Rail, and Heavy Haul partners.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years in transportation administration and operations, strong analytical skills, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ transportation administration and operations experience
• Strong analytical background
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to travel as required by the project

Responsibilities

• Lead and support logistics operations for projects and spot load activity
• Manage project logistics costing, budget, scheduling, planning and risk management
• Lead RFQ/RFP processes and supplier negotiations
• Develop route plans by mode and manage partner relationships (Ocean, Rail, Heavy Haul, Barge)
• Capture lessons learned and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
