Job summary

RXO is seeking an Operations Manager to lead staffing, budgeting, and process improvements across the logistics team in the United States. You will supervise staff, coordinate with account managers, and ensure high-quality service delivery.

The role requires 5 years of supervisory logistics experience, a related bachelor's degree, travel availability, and strong data analysis and communication skills. RXO offers competitive pay and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 5 years of supervisory experience in logistics and/or transportation
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to perform complex analysis of data, processes, and systems
• Ability to manage budgets and adhere to financial targets
• Availability to travel occasionally

Responsibilities

• Assess and adjust staffing requirements to maintain quality service while controlling overtime and labor costs
• Oversee supervisory functions; mentor supervisors and coordinators; use metrics and tools to review performance
• Act as liaison between Account Managers and operations; investigate issues and determine root causes
• Coordinate procedure and document changes; ensure quality policies are communicated to staff
• Identify opportunities for process efficiencies and work with teams to implement specifications
• Analyze quantitative information and apply professional judgment to resolve issues
• Maintain departmental budget and participate in planning, scheduling, budgeting, and policy development
• Collaborate with HR and management on disciplinary actions and hiring/termination processes
