Job summary

J.B. Hunt Transport Services, Inc. is seeking a Manager Trainee to learn the management of a small driver count and non-traditional shifts, including nights and weekends, while ensuring safe and timely freight movement and top customer service.

You will be trained to comply with DOT regulations and to oversee driver compliance and company policies. The role focuses on planning, routing, monitoring, and delivering freight, working with drivers, customers, and internal teams to support operations

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 1 year of related management/transportation experience.
• Ability to work across multiple shifts including nights and weekends.
• Willingness to relocate regionally based on account assignment.

Responsibilities

• Learn to build and maintain relationships with drivers and carriers for smooth set-up and productivity.
• Assist with fleet optimization projects and profitability efforts.
• Support payroll, budgeting, driver coaching, and incident reviews as part of operations.
