Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics or Supply Chain preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in supply chain, logistics, warehouse, or related field.
• 2+ years of managing and leading direct reports.
• Strong knowledge of transportation and/or warehouse logistics operations.
• Strong knowledge of safety and security requirements.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel & Word).

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily fleet operations and performance.
• Develop policies, programs, and procedures for efficient transport systems.
• Set schedules, routes, and assign drivers and vehicles.
• Serve as first point of contact for operational information and issues.
• Submit recommendations to improve compliance with transportation policies.
• Analyze vehicle and driver schedules to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
• Review reports to evaluate productivity and suggest changes.
• Recruit, orient, train, and monitor progression of drivers.
• Monitor turnover and implement programs to minimize it.
• Enforce safety and government regulations and policies.
• Direct operation and maintenance of equipment and communications systems.
• Provide guidance to resolve technical problems and budget accordingly.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
