Job summary

Carvana in San Diego is seeking a management-level supervisor to oversee day-to-day transportation operations at the Logistics Field Operation location. You will coordinate with site leaders, develop goals, and ensure alignment, while mentoring teams on safety and performance.

The role requires 2+ years of leadership and 3+ years in logistics or supply chain. This position is not visa sponsorship eligible and includes a compensation package with annual salary between $67k and $82k plus equity

Qualifications

• 2+ years of leadership experience.
• 3+ years of logistics or supply chain experience.
• Bachelor's Degree in related fields preferred.
• Demonstrated experience leading or developing people including CDL drivers.
• Transportation experience, e.g., vehicle transporter or tractor trailer, or related military experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day transportation operations at assigned locations in coordination with site leaders.
• Develop site-specific goals and ensure alignment and effective execution within the site.
• Review and evaluate daily route schedules and work with Logistics Operations Planning to address issues.
• Provide mentoring and accountability to direct reports and succession planning through coaching and training.
• Ensure workplace safety standards, GEMBA walks, and yard cleanliness.
• Communicate effectively with internal teams and coordinate inventory movement to meet business needs.
