Job summary

Carvana is seeking a logistics operations manager to oversee day-to-day transportation at the Colonial Heights site, coordinating with site leaders and ensuring effective execution of goals. You will mentor teams, review schedules, and manage shifts to meet business needs.

The role requires 2+ years of leadership and 3+ years in logistics, with DOT knowledge and loader certification preferred. This full-time position includes strong benefits and visa sponsorship not available.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of people leadership experience.
• 3+ years of logistics or supply chain experience.
• Knowledge of DOT compliance/regulations is preferred.
• Loader certification may be required as part of training.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day transportation operations at the site and coordinate with other leaders.
• Develop site goals and ensure alignment and execution within the site.
• Review route schedules and work with planning to address issues.
• Mentor and manage direct reports and succession through coaching and development.
• Ensure safety standards and GEMBA walks are performed.
• Communicate with internal teams and manage ground inventory movement as needed.
