Job summary

Carvana is seeking a management level professional to oversee multiple teams at the designated Logistics Field Operation location in Concord, NC. The role may supervise warehouse and inventory teams and ensures safety, communication, and efficient operations across transportation activities.

Responsibilities include mentoring staff, aligning site goals, reviewing route schedules, and coordinating inventory movement to meet business needs.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of DOT compliance/regulations.
• 2+ years of people leadership experience.
• 3+ years of logistics or supply chain experience.
• Bachelor's Degree in related fields preferred.
• Experience leading or developing people, including managing CDL drivers.
• Transportation experience, including driving a vehicle transporter/tractor trailer, or equivalent Military experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day transportation operations needs at assigned locations in coordination with other site leaders.
• Participate in the development of site specific goals and objectives, and ensure alignment and effective execution within the site.
• Review and evaluate daily route schedules and work with Logistics Operations Planning and Scheduling to address issues and deficiencies.
• Providing mentoring and accountability to direct reports and succession planning through coaching, leadership development and training, and performance management.
• Ensure work areas meet or exceed workplace safety standards, including yard cleanliness and GEMBA walks.
• Ensure timely and effective communication with internal teams.
• Coordinate and monitor the movement of inventory on the ground through the warehouse workflow; distribute work and shifts to meet business needs.
