Penske Logistics is seeking an Operations Supervisor to lead the hourly workforce at a single Jacksonville location. The role focuses on directing daily tasks, scheduling, and ensuring customer requirements are met while aligning with company goals.

Responsibilities include driving performance, coaching staff, and participating in hiring decisions. Shift is Monday–Friday, 11:00 am–9:00 pm, with flexibility for peak periods.

Qualificações

• Demonstrated leadership with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to connect with associates and customers.
• Ability to work independently with strong time management and organizational skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication; active listening is required.
• Ability to drive process improvement and lead change.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

Responsabilidades

• Supervise logistics operations including customer service, freight loading/unloading, dispatch and documentation control.
• Conduct team meetings and provide coaching to enhance performance.
• Evaluate methods to increase dispatch productivity and assist in training new associates.
• Provide relief coverage for operational duties during time off or absences.
• Maintain working knowledge of site operating systems to ensure compliance and correct exception resolution.
