Wayfair is seeking a Department Manager of Logistics to lead a high-performing team in our fast-paced warehouse operations. You will own back-of-house processes, drive cross-functional partnerships, and champion a safety-first culture while focusing on performance metrics and continuous process improvements.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in logistics or supply chain leadership, a data-driven mindset, and hands-on problem-solving in a warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years managing logistics, operations, or supply chain teams with a track record of driving results.
• Ability to lead cross-functional partnerships across store and departments.
• Data-driven with KPIs to inform decisions, measure success, and continuously improve.
• Hands-on problem solver ready to roll up sleeves in a dynamic warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Own Back-of-House Operations: Lead the team managing receiving, stocking, inventory control, and order fulfillment to keep the store running smoothly.
• Build Cross-Functional Partnerships: Collaborate with Salesfloor, Visual, Asset Protection, Facility, Talent, and other teams for seamless operations.
• Champion Safety Culture: Develop and maintain a proactive safety environment that reduces risks.
• Drive Performance & Metrics: Monitor KPIs and implement improvements to boost accuracy, speed, and satisfaction.
• Lead & Develop Your Team: Recruit, coach, and inspire managers and staff to high performance and accountability.
• Streamline Processes: Identify opportunities to optimize workflows and reduce bottlenecks.
• Communicate with Impact: Provide updates on performance trends and challenges to leadership.
• Stay Hands-On: Be ready to work in a fast-paced warehouse setting to resolve issues.
