Job summary

Kenco Logistics is seeking a Director of Logistic Operations to lead regional site activities, partner with General Managers, and optimize value for customers. Responsibilities

• Execute and aid in forming the vision for the network and translate the company vision downstream to sites and employees.
• Identify new business opportunities and maximize revenue and margins with existing customers by developing and maintaining customer relationships.
• Facilitate monthly and quarterly business reviews that showcases performance, value-add, challenges, etc.
• Oversee and continuously evaluate day-to-day site performance against established KPI's; introduce new KPI's to amplify insight and impact.
• Meet regularly with General Managers to ensure continuous line of sight of daily operations.
• Drive safety initiatives throughout the network to reduce operational risks and foster a culture of safety.
• Build business cases and present proposals and value solutions aligned with customer objectives.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and training to all employees; work with L&D for staff development.
• Direct the implementation of new programs and processes cross-functionally.
• Use Lean Six Sigma tools to assess site capabilities for improved efficiency, safety, quality, and financial performance.
• Regularly visit sites and maintain a management presence aligned with Kenco principles.
