Job summary

Beacon Hill Staffing Group, LLC seeks a detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to support daily transportation and shipment operations for a large supply chain organization. Ideal candidate has strong customer service experience, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include shipment coordination, order management, carrier communication, appointment scheduling, shipment tracking, and data accuracy.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Previous customer service experience required.
• Experience in a call center, logistics, transportation, or operations environment preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
• Experience working with data entry, shipment tracking, or order management is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage shipment orders and transportation records.
• Activate shipments and build loads within company systems.
• Assign loads and coordinate pickup and delivery appointments.
• Track and trace shipments to ensure timely movement.
• Enter shipment events, updates, and invoicing information accurately.
• Monitor task boards and shared email inboxes for customer and carrier requests.
• Respond to transportation inquiries with professionalism and urgency.
• Follow established SOPs and escalation processes.
• Maintain accurate load and shipment data across multiple systems.
• Resolve issues and escalat(e)
• Support customers and carrier partners to ensure service satisfaction.
• Assist with additional operational and administrative duties as assigned.
